That's the most underwhelming enthusiasm for a superlatively awesome product that I believe I've ever seen.

    update everyone.

We should have the rest of the small amount of pending orders out this week.

Then we should be restocked ETA 15-20 days. I know there has been a lot of people asking.

will be doing 1.03 MT right after SEMA. Sorry for the delay, so much stuff going onat once

This thread is specifically for MT, other for AT. Development thread is for developments on both platforms. but we kind of use all of them *shrugs*

What does that actually mean? Did toyota change tunes as time went on, or just files in the ECU operation? Asking for a dumb friend...

Since no code is perfect and little things need to be tweaked to create a better calibration, all manufacturers now have different versions of the tune as the years progress.

I'll make up an example really quick to explain.

lets say the trucks roll out on the showroom floor november 2015. with map version 04B10.

now april 2016 the calibration engineers find a bug in the program that may make calculating exhaust gas temp off by a few degrees. the difference between 750* and 753* is nothing..but why not charge toyota for an update and make some $$ and have slightly better code

They update it to 04B11, and all trucks being sent out have that.

then november 2016 rolls around and the engineers need to add an option to the ECU for something the new trucks have. ( like enhanced ABS or whatever ). Can't make a new ecu.. that costs too much.

    Software update 04B12.

Now that's not the real reasons for the updates. Just an imaginary timeline of why updates happen.

The results are just so underwhelming. Virtually no gain through the powerband. I am sure that when better results are posted there will be more activity.
