    Does anyone have the part # for the orange gasket that wraps around the heat exchanger on the manifold side of the supercharger ? I remember seeing it somewhere on there but I can't remember what it was actually called

    I would assume you could remove it all and just silicone it if it is discontinued or not obtainable. Is yours leaking?

    I went to do my s/c and plug maintenance and when I pulled the heat exchanger off only half of the gasket was there ...

    Nice.

    Remove what is left and silicone it. That's what I would do if the thing is unobtainable. Seems like a cheap gasket in general. This is partially the reason why I am avoiding removing the blower like it's a plague until it is time for a rebuild.

    It was a good thing I pulled the SC because my plugs were toast... it wasn't all that bad just this small stuff that catches you off guard..

    Anyways I remember someone posting up a Magnuson pn for this gasket and I've been searching like hell but can't find the post

    What were your leaks again? Just aided another fella with a low boost issue. He found a leak in the strangest of places.

    I think mine were all around the cap. Replaced once and that’s still where I found coolant. Need to wash the back of my engine bay now.

    Here was a very well TRD/Magnuson HIDDEN VACUUM LEAK. Which caused improper bypass valve operation.


    Came across this lost boost issue.

    If I owned a s/c, then I would walk out the the truck,pop the hood, and put zip ties around the vacuum hose for the bypass valve.
