I'm running Total Chaos UCA's, which I'm assuming is the culprit. Otherwise I have the OME Nitrocharger coil overs. Just a couple days ago I greased the UCA bushings by loosening the pivot bolt and hooking up a grease gun to the zerk fittings until it came out of the bushings, but they're loud as ever and I took the following video tonight.

What gives? The squeak is pretty terrible and turns heads everywhere :annoyed:

Did you tighten the pivot bolt? Re torque the lower and upper shock mounts. Sounds stupid one time I started to hear something just like that and it was the 2 rear factory front skid plate bolts. Didn't make any sound previously, but for some reason after I went underneath and torqued everything those started to squeak. Tightened and gone.

Check your radiator support body mounts. They make weird noises like that if They are dry.

Also, suspect UCA uniball and bathe in teflon lube multiple times if necessary to make the noise go away.

My truck makes the same noise from the front end. It ended up being the bottom shock mounts. I have icons, and the spherical joint was the culprit. I just lube it up when it starts to come back. Haven't found a permanent solution yet.

Ive got a similar noise and used some lithium spray grease. I don’t know for sure where mine is coming from so I lubed everything that moves and it worked somewhat.

    yep..
Spray some penetrating oil on part by part, test driving between each one. That may narrow it down to a specific location when the squeak suddenly stops.

Do you have sway bars? My retaining nut had backed off maybe a half turn, just loose enough to have the most irritating squeek. Cranked that mofo down, squeek went away.

I was using any penetrating oil I had handy, even rem oil. I've been using molykote in the bushings and also try to work a glob of it into the uniballs after a good cleaning up.

    It's definitely the uniballs.

I bought some of the dry PTFE lube they recommend:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udUaFDCwGAA

..but unfortunately it only quiets the noise for about one day before it's back to the head turning, incessant squeak. Time to replace the uniballs?

    808 ALLDAY!!
my TC UCA start doing that once a month, just lube the chit out of the uniball. I carry a can of spray lube in the truck at all times because of this. I tried the dry lube it only helps for a very short period, I'm using PB blaster, don't care, it works great and clean the uniball with a rag before applying every month

Man my OME lift squeaks on the drives side and sounds identical to that! I found that mine is the rubber bushing on the top of the strut mount, underneath the nut. Im not sure what its for, and if I take it off and drive down the road, its completely gone. I have tried every torque poundage, lubricant, etc, and nothing seems to fix it. Im about to go crazy.

I have taken to wiping them out with qtips to get the road grime out. No lube at all, just clean and they go silent for awhile. It's way worse in warm dry weather.

How long ago did you put on the nitro chargers? Did you replace the strut mounts. My truck was making the same noise. Here's what the strut mounts looked like when I replaced them.

This will cause damage to the shocks.

It’s funny this thread just resurfaced because my front end has been extra loud today  Like I said above the high pitched jingle in the video is definitely the uniballs. There’s all kinds of weird creaking and groaning coming from the front when I turn the wheel at a standstill now though. Maybe it’s bushings again. I would not have purchased TC uca’s had I known they’d be this much of a pain.

I thought the same thing all summer, as soon as the rain came on the regular they are mostly quiet. I'm kind of dreading sunny weather.

I replaced the entire coilover. So im assuming those got replaced as well. Its just the drivers side! I stuck a piece of fiber paper underneath the bushing and it stopped for a while...until the fiber paper got destroyed....then it was back. What is the point of that bushing? why cant I just take it off??

My truck was making this exact noise. Mine ended being the hood latch bar. The U shaped bar on the center of the hood. Over time the paint wore off and caused a screaching noise as it would move around when hitting bumps. I wrapped electrical tape around the bar where it makes contact. Stopped making the noise.
