    this is a tune for a natural aspirated motor. this tune is not now and was never about big dyno gains. basically everyone who invested in it from the beginning were doing it for driveability. the driveability on the stock tune in a MT is, for many of us, nearly undrivable.

    i have gains, the torque bump is very significant and the dyno does not reflect that. but the actual benefit of the tune is the throttle control and progressive timing advance and power curve with a very filled out torque bump in the low mid where you need it. big difference! for sure!

    all i can say about that is if you are deciding based completely from dyno results then you missed the discussion about that and probably have the wrong motor and truck in the first place. this was never about dyno number gains... that doesn't reflect the benefits of this tune. (which are huge and not subtle at all speaking for me and my truck).

    You have very different goals than the majority of us who have purchased the tune. More power is nice but useless if the delivery is jerky and inconsistent. With 1.02 the truck is already leaps and bounds better than stock. Removal of the throttle modulation from Toyota woke the truck up. I'm not sure how much you are expecting to get, but 100 HP from a tune isn't realistic.

    I and many others have said it before. If development foe power hits a brick wall here I will still feel like I got my money's worth.

    What Jeb hasn't seen I gather, is the fat torque gains Mat was able to wring out of this engine for the A/T guys in midrange RPM (page 1 of the dev thread). It's just a matter of time before he gets the same for the M/T.

    I'm still hoping for an answer about the engine braking fuel cutoff stupidity. Thought he said that was something he could modify in the ECU.

    What's undrivable about the stock MT tune. I have it and I don't seem to have any issues with power. If you want to pull, just downshift to the gear that will put you in 4000rpm and you're fine.

    Are people in TW affraid to go past 3000rpm? I like that change in power that happens past 4000rpm. It's exciting for me.

    300hp is what I want even if it means an Camry tune plus 91octane.

    It's never really been about peak HP for the M/T. Torque gains at midrange RPM are a NICE bonus, but it's really about terrible throttle lag and non-linear power delivery. BTW, are you buying this tune?

    Well shit I wish i would have cleared via DTC on PCM flash. Second time my CEL came on I could not clear via torque. Was told to just upload another file with CEL on.
