Awning looks neat - hopefully get some more pics/video/reviews of it in use...

Were any of these damaged in shipping? And how would that be handled if ya order one & need it repaired/returned.

Any idea how much 'space' the annex takes up? I assume you have to store it separately somewhere from the awning?

 

Fixed the saggy bag syndrome with some Velcro straps.

 

If anyone is interested in taking mine off my hands shoot me a message. May be switching up my build

 

Any suggestions for mounting options on round tubing?

 

Any pictures of what it brings as mounts?

Bring it to a fab shop and have them make something to fit your needs.

 

The bars on my rack are adjustable so for me it should work. Now to wait for the delivery guy in brown

 

You could drill through the top and bolt the brackets on the top. Outside of welding I can’t think of anything else. When I had a tube rack I welded.

 

I think ima try some thing like u bolts (exhaust type) and run 2 of them on each mount with bolts thru them. They can clamp down on the tube and should be pretty sturdy I think. (just an idea for the ppl with that type of rack)

The brown snail of Happiness is having another go at mine today...

 

This is what I ended up doing. I had to enlarge the holes slightly and I think I can move the bracket in one set of holes and I'm going to buy an additional bracket for stability but it's a quality unit and I'm glad I got in on the group buy. Thanks @SoCalTacos. Took the RTT off for the winter.

Also my bag seemed saggy at first but after removing everything and then stuffing it all back in there... It seems normal. Not a tight fit but not too much excess.

 

Any one interested in passenger side batwing awning, I just received it from the group buy that ended, but because of health reasons I shouldn't keep it. It's still sealed in the box. Let me
