1 1/2" lift with 5100's, custom exhaust, LT Headers, URD CAI, URD MAF Calibrator, Electric fan, Camper shell, retrofit projectors, and other goodies..
My truck has URD's true CAI w/MAF calibrator, intake plenum spaced, LT headers, and a full custom exhaust from headers-back.
Planning on supercharging it early next year, but I'd like to order one of your tuners once they're available.
Any idea if you'd have any maps setup for a setup like my truck by the time Black Friday rolls around?

To be a little more specific, 12-15's have secondary air injection, where as the 5-11's do not.

I am good for one just to kill the secondary air injection.

Not trying to cheap out, but I've been waiting around because I wanted to see if anything is coming for the holidays? Any deal for self tune? If not, $645 will be heading your way probably Thursday.
And you guys are at SEMA? If you guys brought a self tune kit with you, I could just paid in cash :D I'll be there Friday.

handhelds will be around that time.

DIY release is TBD, I have to get all map data done ahead of time. I'm also looking to use a different software for this.

Oh, I thought you had stated Self Tune was ready. You're looking to do Self Tune with a different software besides ecuEdit?

yes, an easier to use software. Setup on ECUedit is not user friendly.

100% agree with that lol but for all this time I've been reading up on ecuedit to understand it more, hopefully the new software is as you intend it to be. So would it be advisable to hold my money for now, or purchase now and wait?

SC w/urd pulley, afe cai, URD LT's, TRD cat back. 375hp. Custom logos, tonneau cover, westin bar with piaa lights, aero force gauges, custom front air dam, Westin step bars.
I must have missed this, but looking for a tuner for my 2015 taco with the 4.0. TRD sc, afe cai, TRD cat back, URD LT headers and currently a 2.85 pulley. I'd like to add 50hp with a smaller pulley and tune.
The current setup runs an afr of 9.5 at wot so I'd like the tuner to get it a little leaner and pick up some mpg as well as eliminate the speed limiter, raise the shift points, gain some power and eliminate the cel the URD headers have set, even with the 02 sim.

What can you do for me??? Thanks!

I can't guarantee you'll gain 50HP, but I know for sure cleaning up those AFRs will get more power and make it run better in boost, which I can definitely do everything you listed.

Pretty similar similar for me so this is good to hear. I just have an upgraded valve body (shift kit) as well.. any issues? Want to go to smaller pulley. Have an upgraded pump. May need injectors. Still doable?

Made in Japan or made in America....

Single VVT-I or Dual - The stronger 1GR or the weaker? Dual VVT-I is the mechanically weaker engine.

'05-'08 or '09(?) 1GR 4Runner is the same as the Tacoma from '5-'15.

But it has a more sensitive CAN system, and a Yaw sensor. Example: and exhaust leak which causes a CEL will also cause ABS to stop functioning, and activate the ABS light.

Interesting update from OVTune, when I told them I'm interested in a "tuner that provides the following functionality ability to flash it for Magnuson S/C, Magnuson S/C with 2.85" pulley, and back to stock, reduced "Rev Hang" when shifting, locally dyno tune, change TPMS sensor IDs for a summer/winter tires, adjust speedo for non-stock tire size, delete Secondary Air System, TPMS monitoring of spare, etc..."

"unfortunately some of the stuff you request is not possible with our handheld.

    These things cannot be done:
    change TMPS
    local dyno tune capability
    Adjust speedo,
TPMS monitoring (not controlled by ECU)

Our handheld is going to be setup for the tunes we create, then will be plug and play, flash and no, with minimal or no modification to the tune needed."

I guess I don't understand what's being developed, but I asked for clarification of "self tune" capabilities along with what, exactly, the "tunes they create" will do for us.

The Dual VVT version will make more power when tuned.
