Looks simple enough but I think you need a little experience. I would like to do it with someone that knows what they're doing to get the hang of it, at least once.

he certainly makes it look damn easy hahaha makes me think I could do it myself lol I hear yah tho, I would feel better about doing it myself if I did it with someone with experience haha but really, how hard could it be, a few seals some oil, just keep track of how the washers were in there lol

Those are hard sizes to find aren't they? I'm running 285/70/17 with a slight rub when wheel travels up. It's not bad. Been thing of a chop or downsize a bit so no rub.

True but with my luck, the washers would fall because of all the oil.

I was thinking about chopping, but always scared to do any cutting on the frame, especially since we live in a rust belt.
255 size is super $$$$ too I find.

I don't feel like chopping either. Somehow going down in tire size isn't something I want to do either.
    Time for a new truck!

True, im pretty set on st maxx in a 255 80 17. Thats why I bought those wheels. No stance, flush with fender. Plus 4 of those cash is $1120, i was surprised the guy told me it was 1210 for the 255 85 16 in the same tire. Usually its always more $$$ for the larger wheel

I hate spending money if I don't have to. I think I'll wait for the muffler to go unless I lose on a trail :D

    both @NorilskSever @tacoma16 have it I believe.

I have the skid so haven't really had an issue with it.
It would obviously open up some more clearance but I like it.
Its my warning for rear diff lol. They sit almost identical height so if I hear that skid get hit I know to be careful as I can hit my rear diff.

fair enough haha I have some for work, but out sourcing that shouldn't be too hard, if u know an HVAC guy who does a/c he should have some, use it to purge a/c lines and pressure test with it lol
