    I would just do both while you are in there. I wrecked a set of shoes and drum on the passenger rear cause of the gear oil, the driver's side is seeping, but not as much

    Thats a hell of a deal!

    I haven't gotten a chance to get any product on my truck as far as paint yet. I did get the Vette washed and put away for the winter. I have a set of junk tires to set it on for the couple of months. I got an oil change done yesterday and I think I'm about a 1/2 quart too high. I've never been one to enjoy doing oil changes and the Vette is a bit of a PITA because it's so low and I haven't had time to build ramps. Time to investigate those oil extraction pumps to get at the oil from the top. Anyone on here have one? I've read decent reviews of the various Mityvac units, but I'm unsure. @Bruce988jl You have one, right? What's your opinion?

    Two friends have the mityvac extractors & Loooove them. I'm a luddite - I sold the sports car & now only buy tall things I can creeper under. :)

    Yessir I use the pump on the truck for two oil changes then for the last one I'll pull the plug and drain from the bottom. Not entirely sure why because the extractor actually sucks out more oil than the normal drain method. However I'm not sure if it gets the debris out so that's why I drain from the bottom from time to time.

    One thing I noticed driving back from PA - my drive train tunnel in the cabin was getting very warm, my average speed was a out 80-85 through the hills of CT... I don't recall it ever getting that warm however I have rarely driven her 6hrs straight.

    Mine does the same in my reg cab (5spd). Ive had it get quite warm before, but never had any issues
