    120W is more than ample. With the 31M actually went over 48 hours the other day just on battery alone because I had the fridge on and had to take a quick flight for business and plenty of juice to start the truck right up when I got back.

    For those of you that are doing platforms how much vertical room are you losing as I like to sit down and kick back in mine but really want to build one for a new dog here soon. Also anyone recommend lights for the inside battery or hard wired,

    I built mine with some 2x12s and 3/4" plywood, so I lost 12" of room. If you use the notches on the side and keep it ant wheel well height, I believe it's 9"-10". Neither were enough room for me to sit up, and I'm 6' tall.

    Oh yeah, you won't be able to sit up if you have a cab-height top. I used the notches to keep my platform wheel well height, and at 5'10", I can't sit up.

    @Sandman614 has a really cool setup/build.

    Nice high setup and still room to sit.

    I wanted at least 11", so I added a spacer to raise the cross members.

    I'd be down with dual valve stems.

    Is that good or bad? I really like the look of them, and they are in stock, and 16"... so for me they are a high contender for the wheels I want to buy.

    I'd say it's neutral. The downside is it's another valve stem to rip off wheeling, but the positive is that you can accurately monitor your tire pressure while airing up with a gauge on one and airing up from the other.

    it is good. You can use those auto-deflators one one, and use the other for inflation. I dont know another positive for dual valve stems

    Question for all the sleeping platform campers here. How are you closing the tailgate from inside the bed? Or are you crawling over the closed gate?

    My shell has an interior handle to close/open the back window.... wondering if someone has rigged a way to close the tailgate too.

    Usually I just climb over it. It's a pita though, and if I don't feel like doing that I'll just reach down and pull the tailgate shut.

    I crawl in with the tailgate down, then reach down and pull the tailgate up and closed. Reverse that process getting out. It's a bit of a task since I have the Mobtown Offroad tailgate skin which adds quite a bit of weight to it.

    Yes... it's doable, but I'm not a tall dude so pretty hard to get the leverage right, especially after a few beers.

    Maybe I'll need to put some ingenuity into it and rig up a strap to pull it up.
