Tried it with vanilla, wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. I put a strip in my coffee as a stir stick once. That was good, atleast to me it was.

@EatSleepTacos , I was thinking about this today, and it is a good thing that your cap is coming from a reg cab. Mine is made for my cap, and follows the line so well that sometime it does hit the cab because of frame flex. In your case, it should not happen!

 

That's a good point! That actually happened with my old cap one time. We were on the trail, and with the RTT on top it caused it to shift forward just a tiny amount causing it to rub the cab. Had to shift it backwards, which wasn't easy.

I remember when you said that. Mine hit the cab once I think when I dropped a curb or something like that. Might also have hit in the trail I take to reach that small trout lake, some spot makes the truck flex a lot (for a stock one) haha

 

After having the shell on for longer, I hardly notice the gap anymore. As long as you're not looking for it, you can't really see it!

 

@Kemosabe I tagged you in a post earlier not sure if u saw it, but buddy is selling some front window visor thingers for 10 bucks if u want them, I can grab them off him in a couple weeks

 

He said yes will pick up when he meets with @Kemosabe and will send the $10 bill back with him

1) @Kemosabe had tagged you earlier that a buddy of his was selling some in channel “smokers” window vents.
2) @Bocsy44 asked if you had seen it & offered to grab them for you in a couple of weeks
3) @Justanotherhemi made an administrative decision and agreed on the price, offer for pick up and added to have @Kemosabe drive them down when you guys are meeting for the suspension delivery. At that time you will hand over a crisp $10 bil and send back to Canada for @Bocsy44
