    if I do make it.
I either need to always have a tree available to tie to, or someone to lend a second anchor point for my hammock.

it does haha and integrated rain fly
Trying to convince Skye to get me the insulator and 'snake skin' sleeve things for christmas.

Just turns it from a 3 season to 4 season and the snakeskins stay on the ridge line and just slide down to pack the hammock into. That way even if you drop it while setting up it doesn't get full of mud.

    Hennessy hammock man.
    they're good shit.

Going to get a new one for next year though. The new ones you can enter from the bottom and I want a bigger one. The ones they say are good for 6ft are somewhat uncomfortable. Going to get the bigger one. You can get a flat lay with the bigger ones.

You should look into the swag tents if you like that stuff. Wouldn’t have to need a tree or a way to prop it up. Karoline would freak since she is claustrophobic. Looked into the swag tents though. Small, compact, warm.

the main reason I'm going the route of hammock is I'm tired of needing to pack up muddy gear from being on the ground and in the rain you don't get wet.

Otherwise my 2 person tent is fine for ground. And I only need to use it if skye comes.

We will have an ultimate battle between me, you and Peter.

RTT vs Ground Tent vs Hammock
The 1 week of travel will tell us who's got the best choice ( although I kinda know ;) )

yours is a ground tent in the bed though lol.
    Different idea.

Meh all will have their pros and cons.
I don't feel like spending the money for an RTT though and don't feel like dealing with the mud with a ground tent. hammock is a happy medium

I am canceling my date with my possible future wife for an off-road meeting and you can't cancel one of those after spending on a truck over 10K?

For those that are interested should we be setting a Cappa the amount of people or have a staggered starting date in which people leave. Sometimes with larger groups it can take a very long time to complete trails. Wondering what everyone’s thoughts on this are. Again we have a lot of time to decide. However we can begin separating the route based on how long people want to travel for and how there vehicle is set up.

Yes, we need to do this. Otherwise we are loookng at something similar that was happening at Ardberg.

I would say 4 trucks is a good number per group. If there is a big interest we always can split up and pace teams.
