GM Lair! Taking another day off today
My uncle is coming today to finish framing the basement. He didn't want to box in all the duct work prior to the HVAC guy doing his thing, which was finished on Saturday. Once all the furring down of the duct work is complete. I can start measuring/laying out for, and roughing in the electrical like a mad man. I really need to get moving because my wife wants two rooms done by the first weekend in December...

Was still dark for me lol

 

I hate this time of year. By Thanksgiving I will be driving to and coming home from work in the dark....

Not to mention when I work the afternoon shift, it will be dark the majority of the time, which makes it harder to find addresses, etc.

 

Mailman problems

 

I do have similar problems as a mailman.

I did almost shoot a dog (large pitbull) not too long ago...had cleared my holster and my partner was able to pin its head against the wall and make it think twice about what it was doing. Had it got past my partner, I would of had to dump it.

 

We need the body cam video...... for badassery

 

Unfortunately, my department hasn't issued us body cam's yet...but I am sure they are coming.

It was a close one though. My partner had cleared his holster too. He had kicked the dog(s) back once and it was coming a second time, luckily the other one had bailed back into the apartment after being booted the first time. It was completely unexpected too. The dog(s) came out of a neighboring apartment to the one we were attempting contact at.
