I know man, totally bummed right now.

I hit the streets yesterday for some milage

Got caught out in the dark and realized my lights just arent going to cut it

Would really appreciate an Amazon link to some lights I can mount on either side of my helmet

 

I have the 600 lumen (older) version of this:

This has side marker lights and is great for on the handlebar or on the helmet. If you mount it on the side, you will have a helmet shadow on the other side. I usually mount my helmet light on the top to avoid the shadows.

I also use a 2nd light that has a wider throw pattern and many more lumens.

I have the 1500 (older) version of that Seca. This is the brightest light I have ever seen on the trails... this mounted on the handlebar with the 600 on the helmet is a worthy combo for night rides

Many on that aliexpress site. Just note, those usually come from China and take a little bit to arrive, but they are cheap, can be bright, and should work.

Looks pretty bright, has a bunch of good reviews... only question is if its too large for a helmet mount. Its got a battery pack that you would need to put somewhere. You could ride with just this light on the trails and your existing light on your head maybe
