I think even Walmart has rolls of tint at 5, 15, 20%. You can probably buy some 0% from a local shop

I think mirror tint is almost universally illegal for cars in most states.

The best you'll probably find is 5% "limo" tint which is damn near impossible to see in and still allows you to see out during day time.

As I was told - In California you can tint your camper windows any shade and have it be legal.

Will 5% tint allow you to see out better than you can see in? I don't have any experience with tint

I am planning on picking some up from a hardware store and applying it to my camper. The left window on my camper has a scratch from the previous owner, I'm not going to replace it but I was wondering what are camper shell owners' options for replacing a window? Is it possible? Do I have to contact the manufacturer directly or can I have plexi glass custom made from any store?

If I tint my windows, will I have to remove and rescreen the screen?

What tools do I need to do the tint myself? Looking on YouTube a guy is using a heat gun, not sure if I will need that or not.

Check out your local tint shops. At least in my area, folks charge anywhere from $20-100 depending on how many windows. I had my car done in '12 and it still looks good. I believe I paid $80 for 5 windows including a hatchback rear window. When you go to a professional the tint they have is actually black and dark. The stuff you get from Auto Zone or Walmart has a purple hue to it. I have 20% on everything and it is difficult to see though from the outside in. Just my two cents.
