Thats the correct line for boost gauge, and what is used to boost reference. Find a "T"

Ok, sorry for the slight subject change, but I’m about to get replacement valve cover and intake plenum gaskets (OEM). The guy mentioned 2 valve cover gaskets and 1 plenum...do I need 2 valve cover gaskets? I thought it was 1 of each.

I’m at work and don’t have the install instructions in front of me. Feel free to reply or PM me. Thanks!

Yes, and throw a cap on the 3rd prong... same as your intake barb.

Napa/kragen will have a set of different size caps.20160608_184458.jpg

So you have yours running into the intake too. Is that how you're running it Currently?

Mine is currently from the factory intake box to the fpr. I'm about to go get a T and run both.

    Shit, good catch.....

My phones slow as hell, i didnt notice this.

The fpr mod isnt done in this pic!
I just leave the T in place and cap it so whenever i wanna experiment, it only takes a second.

Take the hose off your intake, cap that barb!

    Sorry about that.

Damnit again! Maybe I'll leave early.

I have the 2.85 and hit 9 psi on a nice long pull. I need room to make that happen and when you're in Dallas room doesn't happen very often.

Little brass plug...must go. I'm kinda worried I'll break the actuator taking that thing out.

What the hell sort of Tomfoolery is going on right now.

Run a T. One vacuum line comes from your boost gauge to one end of the T. Hook it up. The other runs from the fuel pressure regulator to another end of the T. Hook that up. Another end of hosing runs from the T to the supercharger boost port hook those up.

Cap the port at the intake to seal off an unwanted unmetered leak after the MAF. Done. You are now boost referenced and you are also able to monitor boost pressure and vacuum at the same time.
