courtesy and rock lights. The courtesy lights were a challenge because of the dimming circuit making the relay chatter but I found a solution. Ill post a writeup shortly.

Cut up the grill, derped it, added mesh and FJ logo, and wired LED's to the marker. One does not work and is being replaced via Amazon, which sucks because I already glued it in, so that should be fun. The lower bumper piece still looks hideous, who the hell at Toyota thought that this was a good look. Need to get a bumper, but really enjoy the 20-22 MPG I am getting now.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Are you sure the Non-working light is wired with the correct polarity? If it's backward it wont work. Just trying to save you from removing light if you can just change the wires?
Just a thought because I didn't know they were that way when I did my interior lights.

Yeah, it is wired the same as the other two and it is the only one that does not work. Checked with multimeter and it is getting the correct voltage (same as other two). They come pre wired in any event, I just connected all three to a mainline and connected that to the marker light (same procedure for negative/ground).

Their new one is aluminum and supposedly only "slighty affects" the easy open feature. https://mobtownoffroad.com/product/2016-tacoma-tailgate-reinforcement-plate/

Maybe @Mobtown Offroad can chime on on how much "slightly" means.

I'd take this over a PRO. It just needs a recessed base for the letters to sit. Looks a little "quick stick on" for me. Other than that, bravo.

Interior Grey trim--> Red in progress. Exterior Chrome--> Black/Red/Gone in progress.
Got my new ammo boxes installed for some extra storage. Not the cleanest install but I learned a few things for the future and they don’t interfere with the tonneau which was my main goal.

Didn’t get pics in progress but: 1 1/4 x 3/8 bolts with washers inside and outside of the rail, rubber gaskets through the boxes and secured with flange bolts on the inside. Threw some felt furniture pads on the lower edge for when they hit the bed. Spray dipped the side facing the outer wall and planning to dip the rest when I get time and light.

Don’t mind the makeshift cargo divider, I needed something to keep my groceries in one area.

*edit: not sure if the lights will stay but I’m going to try them. $1 store tap lights mounted on industrial magnetic tape.

A bed mat will keep your groceries from sliding around. Probably one of my most useful mods.

If you like cooking with charcoal and use a park style grill ( love mine ) Northern has a neat grill post that fits right in you receiver hitch. Pretty slick and you don't have to grill on your tailgate.

Pretty creative, pretty cool! I like the ammo box idea! Lights are good.
Even though I have a Bed Rug in the back I use that cargo net to keep things like wine bottles and propane tanks from rolling around.
I also have one of these for lighting in the back....battery powered, water resistant LED’s.
Have had them for over a year.....work great. Great alternative for those who don’t want to have to wire the LEDs to the battery etc.

Looks good man. Is there an empty gap behind the new emblem, or did you put something behind the emblem to brace it? Did you use double-sided tape to attach the emblem?
