You sound mechanically inclined enough to do the rear and probably the front as well! Lots of how to's in this forum and You Tube.

Funny, I haven't done my diffs yet lol but I did the lift with the help of a buddy who was also new to it. Like it was mentioned, plenty of How-Tos on here and you can even post a picture of your issue mid install and I bet you would get a response pretty quickly on here

 

that's the great thing about TW, I recently flushed my power steering pump, changed oil, cleaned my CAI, and changed the fluid on the rear Diff. if it wasn't for TW and YouTube I would've been still looking for the right sockets and what to use and how to etc lol

 

They'll assemble the shocks for $150, or for $30 you can buy a strut spring compressor kit and DIY.

Ask your buddy if he would teach you how to install. Its super easy and in a shop shouldnt take too long. ask him to do it after hours and bring a case of beer

 

that's a great idea, however minus the beer part, he's a church going guy...but its a win win for me. I may learn how to do it myself for the future and leaves me with more beer!
