If anyone is getting tint done, I HIGHLY recommend XLNT Tint in Owings! They just do tint, no lifts, no aftermarket radios etc. they have MASTERED the art of tinting and honor their work. They are both affordable and trustworthy because you know know up front what you are getting! True pros IMO

 

I've been using the guys at A-Plus Auto Styling in Forrest Hill for a couple vehicles now. They also do wraps.

Yea, a little high for us all the way over here but for Gold Ray 10's, if your pockets are deep, then this is for you!. I paid $1,030. shipped to me from Cali for 5 wheels only. These could be shipped FedEx or UPS but I don't think I would trust them. Common carrier, with them wrapped and strapped to pallets would be my preferred method.

I ordered the Bilstein 5100 Kit from Headstrong Off-road (Thanks Randy). I guess my next question for those in Southern Maryland is, Where did you get your post lift alignment done? I live five minutes from Prince Frederick.

 

Woohoo!! You gonna install it yourself? I've only done one alignment here, but I wasn't happy with the price so I'm gonna find somewhere else for next time when I install new coils and UCAs in a few weeks.

 

Yep. You're welcome to help if you don't mind driving an hour south of Fort Meade. I think I have most of the tools I need. I will be checking to make sure before the parts arrive.

I've had terrible luck with decent alignments around here. I always had to find a friend who worked at a shop where I could help do my alignments. This was for very specific auto x alignments though. I'm not sure if aligning this truck is that complicated.

 

For the rear I went with the Deaver Single AAL. Walter Reed is about an hour away. I am still pretty far South. If it is too far I can enlist the help of a couple of locals who also volunteered to help. It actually looks like one man could do it. I used to turn wrenches on Aircraft (21 years ago) and am mechanically inclined (most days, haha). This is just the first time I have messed with truck suspension and would be more comfortable teaming up with someone that has a little more experience.

 

I had my front windows tinted by them and they did an awesome job. The tint was computer cut and looks great. I am just not sure about the other services they offer since a lot of their mechanical work is done off-site and you don't get to see the results of their work in person.

 

An hour is nothing! I'll be there. I've installed 3 AALs now, so I'm very comfortable with it.

 

Cool. I'll let you know when my order arrives. In the mean time I am going to try to figure out where to get an alignment.

 

@68dave have you explored any of Sleepy Creek WV Wildlife management area?

 

I've been to sleepy creek twice! Tore a sidewall there.

 

Looks like its close to Berkely Springs, which is over the hill from Paw Paw, which is right down the road from GR

Yeah it's not too terribly far (closer than GR to me). It's tougher than GR, at least where we go. Got a little body damage last time.
