I wasn't there, but from what I'm hearing, his air intake became a water intake....Then the water was discovered in engine oil later...Couple oil/filter changes.....motor died on the way home. Not the first time it swallowed water. Back in September @ Rush Offroad it damn near hydro-locked (was there) . Might be cumulative damage.

Still waiting for details of fender crunching. Not sure that was part of same Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea episode.

I'm thinking Everett is probably trying to forget as much of the weekend as possible. Not breaking his balls to get the story. Just trying to help where possible for now. Last few trips into the wilderness have been kinda rough on his truck. Starting to get costly.

First step is making certain there isn't a living arrangement swap.

Far be it for me to tell anyone else what to do, but I'd be more inclined to just get it back on the road in OEM form that to take on a major project at this time.

I have a line on a totaled 2011 Tacoma. May be an engine and the drive shaft he needs. Just gotta get the seller talked down from believing he has a rare 24carot gold Tacoma in his back yard.
