I don’t think so it’s directly attached to my differential I think it’s the part that auto locks the hubs

 

I snapped the plastic nipple on it

 

He said at Toyota they told him the plug was left off during service and it ruined the case. It runs and moves but makes an awful noise as it goes.

And he didnt make them replace it? Even if the fill or drain is left off, then it would be pretty hard to get something in there accidentally

 

I would he interested in going just to hang around/help out! I would do my frame, but it is going to be replaced soon!

 

I'm asking those questions now. Sounds like it may have been a small garage that probably did it, but sounds like it started making this noise over time.

 

Alright. He doesnt think he has one, but he is going to check this weekend when he goes to his dad's

 

Sounds like maybe they forgot to put oil in it and damaged it somewhat before adding oil. My buddy is going to check this weekend

OK, back at work after being home with a bunch of kids yesterday, driving me nuts.

Let my oldest "slide" at the end of last week, and all weekend long. He's home from daycare on Thursday and Fridays as it is, goes to my in laws. Then, he was at my inlaws all day long on the weekend, and yesterday (kept him home from daycare so he could play with my nephew and nieces before they went back home to WV today).

Needless to say drop off at daycare was ROUGH this morning. So, to add to that, let the start at work because I know it's coming.
