Hey all. Bought my 2015 DCSB 4x4 brand new and absolutely love it. While the FJ was a ton of fun the Tacoma has offered me the luxury of being able to fit my family into the truck, unfortunately the FJ didn’t. I’ve been doing small mods here and there, just added a 3” Pro Comp lift, rims and tires. Lots more to come when the means present themselves.

    Short list of mods
Power outlets for the rear passengers
Led lights in the glove box
Pro Comp 3” lift (that will change soon)
    275 60 17 AT Tires
    Icon struts 67753926-DCA9-4647-88FF-CD97E3C9C66D.jpgA7C6B752-9482-46DB-8F13-BB61DBD5382A.jpg
Pro Comp flood lights in the lower grill
    Blacked out led headlights/tail lights
    Performance chip
    Headers
40 series Flowmaster with the American Thunder exhaust
    Tinted front door windows
    ARE Shell

I’m sure I’m missing something and there is a lot more coming.

Anyway, thought to share with you.

    Cheers all
    Ed

There are several on the market. They plug into the computer located behind the glovebox. It took me about 20 mins to install just because it’s such a small, inclosed space. They can increase hp and torque considerably. 25-40 hp depending on the setting. They do this by modifying the curve in your stock computer and advancing the timing. I’ve had mine for 2 years and have been very happy with it. As i said before, now they make them with a “stock” setting (mine does not have that). This is a great option if you live in a smog controlled state like I do. They typically start at about $350 and go up from there.

Let me know if you have other questions. It was a great investment for me knowing that I wouldn’t be able to afford the supercharger. Headers, chip and an intake produce the same if not more hp and torque as a supercharger for a fraction of the price.
    Cheers
