With plans to modify my 2018 Off Road, I can't find any real info on lifting the truck with the tssp. I've read here a few places there might be issues but nothing solid as far as info. Google keeps popping up Ford relocation mount kits for the radar cruise control for aftermarket bumpers but that's all I found. Any thoughts on how much of a PITA this might be on 2018s? So Tundras with the same system has issues anybody knows of?

16/17 models will be in high demand as the last models that can be lifted without problems . HeHeHe . I can see the lawsuits now . 2018 Tacoma had the safety features disabled when it was modified . The accident never would have happened if it had not been tampered with .

if TW is indicating anything, there isn't any real world info yet. you'll need to wait for the guinea pigs, of which you may be one

Several tundras with TSS are lifted - no issues - and in the manual the features can be turned off, put on less sensitive or more sensitive instead of normal setting.

Just lifted my 2018 OR this past weekend on a pro comp nitro kit. VSC light is on and cruise control (TSS) is not working. I have an appointment at Lugoff Toyota tomorrow for an alignment. They are also going to try and fix the TSS and VSC. I've seen lifted 2018's on their lot so I'm sure they have to knowledge to resolve the issue. Will report back in a day or too.

The Alignment fixed both. Mechanic said the steering wheel being misalignmed tripped the yaw sensor. That threw the VSC out and because of that the pre-collision went out. Chain reaction haha. All good now. Just had to pay for a pricey alignment.

$110. Not too bad, but next time I will go to Firestone/Sears and get a lifetime alignment.
