If you're worried about MPG, then don't go 35s.

Honestly MPG should be the least of your concerns, not sure how familiar you are with the process. First off it requires A METRIC SHIT TON CUTTING both fenders and CMC unless your going with a DB lift which I definitely would not recommend. Next issue would be gearing your stock gear ratio is not ment to run tires that large so I would definitely recommend a re-gear. But if your good with all that they do look wicked awesome with 35 and will definitely help off road.

35s and 4.88s = single digits to low double digit MPG depending on how you drive and where.

Actually you are. Or you wouldn't have asked. Or you will care when it tops $4 again.

But it will be in v8 territory.

Along with lots of other challenges.

Too bad he doesn't have the same truck so his answer is pretty much irrelevant.

Where do you live? That plays a huge factor. Elevation, wind, hills, temperatures. Back when I lived in the DC area I got about 15mpgs but it was mainly flat with no winds and temps were moderate. Now that I live in Montana I've seen my mileage drop to 8.6 with headwinds and 70-80mph speed limits. Sucks the gas right out. I have 488's with 35's. They are about 76lbs each. I'm looking to get a different tires but still 35's. I also have full skids, sliders, front bumper with winch, bed rack and rtt. My truck weighs 6100lbs

    35s, 4.88s, and supercharger. I average 12 mpg.
I can get over 13 as long as I keep it under 55 though. Which means I basically never get over 13.

Plus if you drive Mt. Rose highway or driving over the 267 to get to Tahoe. I had buddies in Incline and didn't like the summit coming from Northstar.
