The same shit everyone else has.
Do lots of reading. Do lots of YouTube watching.

I'm pretty much 100% self taught. I know I definitely have bad habits from it though.

What kinda of fly fishing do you wanna do? Trout? Warm water? Salt water? Find a local group of dudes with similar interests and weasel your way in.

Your local chapter Trout Unlimited is always a good start.

Most fly fishermen are the same I've come to find out. We're all super passionate about our sport because it's more than just a sport or a hobby. It's a life style. It's an obsession. We're usually willing to help and share info if you're willing to learn and understand our passion.

Took my super cheap 10ft kayak 2 miles off shore to chase down the bonito that’s near shore. Got Too excited catching fish and only ended up with a pic of a blue fish I caught on my 8wt. This was caught at the 1 mile buey.

Any thoughts on the Peak Rotary Tying Vice? I have been tying for years I have taught a high school tying class for several years and with the low budget I have gotten accustomed to cheap vices. It’s time to upgrade.
