Input on this front bumper?

Does anyone run this bumper or have any experience with it? Decent price and love the look

 

I don't know that company.

 

Wouldn't buy a bumper from a company I don't trust. Better off going to a well known off-road shop and asking them to make you one, then you can tell then what you like

The first on for $664 is k2 motors... i meanwhats there to trust? Fitment?its just a piece of metal afterall if it does not fit ill send it back lol

 

Not all "pieces of metal" are created equal.

 

Yeah how about in an accident when the eBay bumper folds back into your engine bay and messes up your radiator and the whole front bumper and basically everything else. You'll end up paying the extra money one way or another, better off getting a bumper you like in the meantime instead of extra bodywork to make it okay again

 

An indestructible bumper will hose your frame... so there is no real win. Something has to absorb the impact.

 

Yeah, but if the accident is so bad your frame is hosed it was gonna be hosed either way, in a low speed accident where a good bumper would just go "what was that?" A crappy eBay bumper will ruin the whole front end of the truck and cause thousands in body work

 

Made in China, bad welds, JUNK. Do it right the 1st time. Pelfreybilt rocks.

 

I know little about aftermarket bumpers, but this sounds like one of those "get what you pay for" situations.

 

Exactly. Remember guys: $600 in pure junk is worth a LOT less than a $1000 good off-road bumper from a good manufacturer

Yeah their website appears to be down, but Mobtown is a good manufacturer though plenty of people on here run their stuff without issue.

they do, its the first item under their 2016 tacoma tab on their website, but there is no photo on it so its greyed out while the others have their display photos

We are finishing up a few details and hope to have pictures of the 3D model this week.

We won't have a physical bumper on a truck for a month or so.

 

With Black Friday going on soon I would definitely go with a better known company
