My buddy mentioned to me is to take bare metal sliders to a bed liner installer and have them line-x them. Pretty much would be scratch proof. Anyone heard of doing this?

 

I assume the one shown on the blue Tacoma is "Three Tube Support". Can you confirm?

Line-X will make them resistant to minor scratches. If you wheel in the woods and are dragging or rotating the sliders around trees, fallen logs, dirt berms, etc, line-x will hold up. First rock you meet, and it'll scrape right off

 

Intrested in a rear bumper for a 5th gen 4runner if this is still a go.

I have the Shrockworks sliders for the FJ in textured black. I think it is a much better way to go rather than a shiny/glossy. This pic on their website is definitely textured black powdercoat:

The black powdercoat on my Shrockworks sliders looks just like the textured black powdercoat on my Prinsu Rack.

 

im in for a pair of sliders for a 2016 TRD Pro 4runner. Already confirmed with them about making them for my truck with a 1" body lift so put me down
