Did a quick search and didn't see a "moving to Idaho / Boise" thread.

We're looking for info on the area, would you rather me start a new thread of post in here?

    Appreciate it!

We are thinking of relocating to the Boise area and wanted to get some info and hints on the areas to check into and ones to avoid.

Ideal world... a 1/2 or larger acre of land with a good house in a good hood with good schools and no HOA... ***ideal*** but we are realistic and understand an ideal world is not always available.

My wife has some interest in the Eagle area but again, we just don't know much about any of the areas except what we have read online and we take that with a grain of salt.

No idea the location I would land a job but my current commute is right about 25 miles and takes about 40-45 minutes. I'm in the telecom industry and have experience in both NOC (national & customer) and field ops (inside & outside)

I hear Eagle is nice. There prob is some 1/2 acre spots but I doubt you will find too many close to Boise. If there are any they are going to be pricey. Im up north though so Im a little out of touch.

Broke my own rule today and took my truck through an automatic carwash. I was pleasantly surprised, Epic Shine did not disappoint. (Yes I paid $11 to wash my truck during a rain storm, it was gross)

I didn't notice any swirl marks, so I'm happy. Lol
Parking under the pine tree still so I'll be washing it more often. I haven't tried Dirty Harrys, I'll have to check it out.

So after making it through last winter I'm pretty confident I'll be fine this go around.

I have been offered studs though, think they are worth the hassle?

Hey guys! just wanted to check in and say hi! We are located in Middleton and hope to make some awesome products for the tacoma community. I mentioned in my introductory thread that we are always looking for testers and helpers when making new products, you all will be on my shortlist!
We recently launched our new website: datinfab.com and have released our first product, the Base Station Gear Rack! Let me know what you all think and if there are any products that you can't find and want designed! Talking to the guys at rocktober therapy, it seems there is a need for sway bar quick disconnects which we have began looking into, anything else?
    Thanks,
    Tanner

I agree, just have to figure out how to do it well. Ed Datin who is the 2nd half to Datin fab, and founder, was telling me back in his days of building baja race trucks, they made them using a splined coupler that had a pull cord in the cab. You could pull it and pull the coupler off the spline and split the sway bar in half and then when you get back on road, release the cable and it re-couples the spline. Too bad that's probably not a very cost effective way to do it here, cause that would be awesome!! My FJ runs the same sway bar as the tacos so I'm in desperate need for one to. When I was in Moab a couple weeks ago, I got the truck on two wheels (Pass front and Driver Rear) coming down the hell's revenge exit...definitely wouldn't have happened if I had 1 more inch of travel.

There’s a YouTube Chanel called Wanderlost Overland. In one of the episodes the install a sway bar disconnect on their fj. Maybe I it will give you some ideas.
