I couldn't hold out any longer. I swear, it is worse / more distracting when the functional are locked out.

I just sent a PP for a cable.

    Thanks!

What front camera are people using? It seems like every one on Amazon has terrible reviews.

Personally any rear camera will do it for me as long as it meets my minimum requirements:

    600 tvl
170° such as this ones (read the detail, this Camera required mount face up) or search for one.
and if you want to add infrared light requirement then there.

Keep in mind doesn't matter which camera you purchased, they are came from China and quality is not up to our spec...
Number one failure in these camera are not sealed properly and water vapor in the air will condense, with some remaining trapped. This problem can damaged and blur the image.

So after purchased, received and before installed. DO the following:
Get a Clear Silicon Sealant apply to all the gap, hole, thread...etc and give some pressure so sealant can sip down the gap and you will have a great camera will last for a long time. (yes, I did it to all my LED light bar, Camera...etc.)

@Hoangde If I’m wanting to install a camera in the front and use the mirabox 5g. Am I understanding correctly that I will need the video switch box? The camera and mirabox will plug into the switch box and the switch box plugs into your harness and your harness plugs into the 28 pin adapter? Also will your harness work with the basic touch screen that some Tacoma’s come with?

Yes, you got it. The HAI cable just an adapter cable between Head Unit and oem cable. So all the functional of the Head Unit remains the same and regardless the truck is in motion or not.

Thanks! Will be looking to place an order soon. A couple more questions, I’ve already watched your YouTube video a couple of times. Where do you mount the toggle switch? And where do you place the mirabox?

The toggle switch really needs to toggle one time to override Nav / Speed Detection. After that you do not have to touch it again. The only affect you will notice is if you use Navigation system then your location will refresh less often than when the toggle switch in not in override mode. So in my case, I just hide the toggle switch below the center console.
The Mirabox is wireless for Android and wire for iphone so plenty of space behind center console to put it.
