Alright folks, here we go again. Fluid Film sprays available next Sunday (11/19) for a limited number of vehicles.

Iv had my first Taco (98) from 07-09 had it happen. And my current one since 09. Iv done gaskets and nuts at least 4-5 times and replaced 2 sensors. Guess iv been lucky never had to replace a stud or that section of pipe. I’m on my 4th muffler/ carback and I have removed that pesky peice between the two sensors so the flat belly would fit. But the sections of pipe with the O2s are still original (02). The factory pipe is high quality. Aftermarket “walker or Lou’s” stainless is shit and dies in 2-3 years. The DT stuff should last as long if not longer than stock.

 

How much were the O2 sensors? I got mine from Rockauto. A Denso (OEM) one was like $120 cheaper than dealer

 

Not sure about Lou but pretty much anything from Walker is usually just aluminized mild steel which is why it doesn't last long. Whenever I've used Walker I've always hosed the parts down with brake cleaner, let it dry, and then sprayed it with black BBQ paint. Never had any of it go bad after that, but usually the longest I've kept a truck afterwards is about 3-4 years.

 

These are the rear ones(non heated). Camelback has them for $109. I typically try to use OE stuff where I can, especially sensors because I'm anal.

So do I, mine was the upstream (wideband) O2 sensor. I go with Denso since it is cheaper than paying dealer prices, but its the same part.

Gotcha. In should have looked but o well. Plus they had them and can get them to me on Thursday, so hopefully I can get everything on Thursday night so I'm not sucking exhaust any more than I need to

But on a serious note, that woykd be nice to get it fixed soon for everyone's safety. Its mostly while stopped when you have to worry

I was unaware Shipyard had one! I am a a fan of their pumpkin beer, especially with a shot of vanilla stoli dropped in it.

 

Definitely not as strong as the vanilla which hits mostly at the end. I have yet to check out the brewery, even thought it is right in town lol. I would try to get it draft at a local bar. Strangebrew and Thirsty Moose have it if you ever make a trip.
