Yeah just take it off, clean it, dry, mask everything you don't want painted. Prime it once or twice then do 3 coats of color match. Done, how are you on TW if you have never painted something before. That's right of passage

 

I used plastidip instead before???

 

I hate plastidip, it's crap. But painting is all about prep

 

Maybe it's just the way it looks on my phone, but is your truck sitting really low? Wheels look great though.

 

It has its place. Granted, do I wish I'd used paint or bed liner on my flares? Yes. Wheels? Meh. I really wanted the silver lip so having plasti dip helped with that.

About an hour from North Carolina, Banks County . Away from everyone

 

My dad has a everything to paint. He likes to paint cars as a hobby but I wouldn't touch his gun. He'll get butt hurt. Do you plan on using a spray can with the same color code?

 

As of a mod day at my house, I'll be throwing out dates by the end of this week. You guys won't have to bring any tools unless there specialty tools.

 

How much paint is needed for a grill? And clear coat primer etc...

 

Probably just one rattle can but get two on the safe side. Some of those paints have the clear coat already in it but it just depends
