G2 doesn't make gears for OUR trucks. TRD OFFROAD has a 8.75 rear end. G2 doesn't make them. Was the $2200 quoted with Nitro Gears?

2nd gen here but had front and rear regear with lockers installed at ECGS for <$1700 OTD. I brought my own lockers so the <$1700 is gears, materials, and labor (additional hour of labor for full skids). ECGS had my truck all day from 8am to just after 5pm.

FYI - G2 is 4WP's (transamericans) own brand, likely the reason for that statement. That's not to say they're bad, I wouldn't know as I've never used any G2 parts, and don't know anyone personally who has either.

I'm still fairly new to Toyotas and Tacos, but in the Jeep world, Nitro is well respected; and I've ran their gears and axle shafts on a previous jeep that was wheeled hard and often, and never had any issues.

Ok so after wasting a bunch of my time, we finally came to the conclusion that everyone was saying on here . So can someone please provide me with a link to the CORRECT gears that I can purchase (the one with the master install kit). I believe its this: https://www.nitro-gear.com/GPTACO2016-4-88-8-75-p/gptaco2016-4.88-8.75.htm But can someone double check this so I dont mess this up? Also, is there anywhere else that sells them cheaper?

So they said if I provide gears its $1000 for install (front and rear).

Thanks a bunch guys. I really want to get this done and its been nothing but a pain in the ass for me.

Any whining or issues with them? They aren't that far from me and $1700 installed isn't a bad price at all..

So ordered from Low Range last week, and got the package today but it was only the bearing eliminator :annoyed:. When I called Nitro Gears a few weeks ago, they said they were back ordered but I thought Low Range would have them on hand... Guess I'll just have to wait a few more days for an update :sadviolin:.

And you asked why we said stay away from 4WP.

Do you still trust the guys who don't know anything about the right parts for your truck to go playing around inside your diffs?
