This weekend @tacobell007 and I spent like $120 apiece on dinner and drinks. Then played a hilarious round of darts while my girlfriend tried to sleep in the next room. It was fun! And I was mostly sober at the end of the night.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I rarely drink at home, and never alone. For me the fun is going out and meeting people!

I never drink alone, outside of a beer with dinner and even that is rare. I love boozing and hanging out with my homies. Going out is fun but I can only do it so many times a month.

 

Agreed. I usually follow up every "going out weekend" with a "try not to move at all weekend" the next week haha

While we're on the topic, do you go out in Boston a lot? My buddies and I want to take a trip down since none of us have gone out there before. Where are some good places to go?

 

Yeah! I used to work for a bar in Fenway, so that the area I know best. I've learned a bit about Cambridge/Somerville area too now that I live there.

The Big Mac Bar Crawl winds its way through ~13 bars in Fenway and can be a great way to spend the day! A lot of those bars are the bumping college crowd though, so if you want something more relaxed I'd steer clear of fenway.

Sadly, a $200 bar tab in Boston isn't overly hard to accomplish. Hell, even I could pull that one off and probably not even have a hangover to show for it the next day!

Who here is in the Boston area who would be willing to come in on weekends for shenanigans? It would be fun to get a TW crew together. Maybe find a bar and slowly turn it into a TW bar...

True that. Took a buddy out in Boston for his bachelor's party a few years ago, and some of the prices are ridiculous. $15 for a mixed drink, $9 for a basic 12oz bottle of Sam
