That's a good suggestion. But id rather not. The problem last year was everyone moved their convos they have in their regional threads to that thread. We weren't having convos with new guys that otherwise wouldn't occur. We were just talking to the same folks about the same nothing we talk about in the TN thread and KY thread and OH thread and all 30 people's build threads but crammed into the LBL thread. As a result, shit pertaining to the thread was ignored, forgotten, misplaced, stepped on, etc ... We just need to collectively do a better job of not ignoring that shit and making sure that if someone asks a question about the park or how we interact or asks to be put on the list that their questions are answered and their request is made apparent to me (or in last year's case, Brent). Our group fucks off with the best of them. But we're also one of the best at helping eachother out. We just need a better balance of that in the thread this year. It's gotten big enough to where the "OP" shouldn't have to sift through pages of shit to not miss something or someone important. Just help a nigga out.

 

Those are called Mohican strips and typically are a one shot deal being stuck on with adhesive...if you can find used. If all else fails new ones are around $110 each and I can get you with your TW discount cost about $87.

 

I go to Firestone on 14 in Raleigh. There's a tech there that does all the alignments for the off road jeep guys so he's used to working on not stock suspension. His name is Parker. He'll set you straight.

Hear complaints of glare on all the other colors. Can't imagine how blind I'd be having a white hood.

 

That's was on the Ky adventure tour last year and I brok a axle on a hill climb, or at least that's where I noticed it. Had to get pulled up as I could not make it in two wheel drive.

 

Yes one of the main reasons I'm getting rid of it is the glare. I can not deal with it anymore.

Anyone have experience with running Fox in the front? I'm looking at lifts and I'm curious if their 600# spring is going to cut it with the extra 150 lbs up front, plus the sliders.

Nope, I'm still on my stock OR suspension. I do have 265/75-16s which help get me some clearance though.

 

Fox uses Eibach springs, just FYI. I'd run 650s. What # spring you want should be optional and free to swap. If it's not then you're buying from the wrong place.

You might want a coil like the 887 then. Since you have a v6 and that bumper/winch. Not a clue what Fox offers in that

 

I'm doing 887s but with aluminum bumper/skids. And I'm golden with 2-1/2" of lift. Don't want/need any more.


887 is "only" 590lb spring rate. Requires too much preload for my benefit if adding HEAVY bumper/winch/skids.

886 is a slightly better choice if steel bumper/skids and winch. (620lb rate)
