    Ok, so many of us "blank out" our license plates when posting pics. I'd like to see if others have "cool" vanity plates (or any at all)...hell, if I'm willing to drive down any road (and off them!) with it showing, why not show it off!
    Got a cool/fun or otherwise? Basic rules...you gotta own it yourself:

    True story:

    My original plate request to the California DMV was GEOTACO. I waited and waited, but instead of the notice informing me that my plates were ready for pick up, I got a letter informing me that my vanity request was denied.

    Because my plate request was a "form of lust or depravity."

    I thought to myself, WTF??? So, I sent in a second form with the current plate you see above, request and plates granted.

    FF a few months later, KNBC channel 4 out of LA does a news story about the department within the DMV that grants vanity plate requests, and covers some of the do's and don't's of vanity requests.

    69 only goes on vehicles made in 1969, no hints of white supremacy, no drug innuendo, no sexual innuendo...etc, etc.
    At the end of the report, they publish a link to the database of denied requests, and a buddy of mine looks up my specific request for GEOTACO...and there in bold DMV print it states: "Denied, because taco means vagina."

    I knew this, because who doesn't?

    But it still made me laugh, and does to this day, becuase the DMV stated it in their spreadsheet of denied plate requests.

    Constant joke between my wife and I, because there are so many "Taco Shops" here in SoCal the joke just never gets old. :rofl::rofl:
