Your basic pasta shell (or elbow macaroni) chicken soup.

    C88D30FC-F916-42D2-820F-0F38166CD81A.jpg

Foundation is crock pot chicken stock:
Quick sauté using the crockpot pot: Garlic, onions, carrots, celery.

Add the chicken bones and brown ( I always debone a store bought roast chicken once I get it home. Deboned roast chicken for dinner, chicken bones I freeze for making stock. )

Add sea salt, fresh ground pepper and a couple quarts of water. Slow cook for 8-10 hours to extract all the flavor from chicken bones.

    Strain everything. Reserve the stock.

Another quick sauté of onions, chopped celery and carrots and four chicken breast halves, cubed. Add chicken stock and dump in a box f elbow macaroni or shells (whatever you have in the pantry)

    Season to taste.

My girls will eat this stuff every day until it’s all gone.

Makes feeding the girls a little easier.

    Smoked turkey noodle soup!

Basically the same recipe as above but I used a turkey breast I smoked for the stock and meat.

Also I’m cooking it on the stove.

:notsure: @MTgirl was that you? don't see anything in the memorial thread about it, and unless his posts were already deleted, didn't see anything in the last few hours that were over the line.

I'm going to have to make soup now after seeing those two pictures.
