These threads are always sooo fucking stupid. no one gives a fuck how or why you paid for your truck how you did. paid cash, cool. financed, cool. leased, cool. do whatever you like.

He sounds like an old man that’s not up to current times.

Attached is a screenshot I just took of Bitcoin in a 1 year trend. 1 year ago a single Coin was $700, a single Coin at this time is $7,367. That’s not to say the price can’t go down overtime, like the stock market, but it won’t just crash overnight. While crypto currency is doing good, I’m riding the wave!

I have been paying extra each month, if I keep the current pace then it will be paid off in 16 months.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Not true -- maybe all of the wrench turners are still out in their garages --modding their tacos? Or maybe here we have a buying bunch of people that contains a greater proportion (than the norm) that chose to not finance the lending institutions?

Check out the profiles of the people that have said they paid em' off --you may be surprised by what you find --rather than saying something like--

I financed it. I don't owe much though, but to be totally honest, the amount of $$ I've spent on mods I could probably have paid off the loan by now :anonymous:

Paid for, infact 0 debt. While my homes vehicles and...well everything is paid for.
I always liked the phrase " if you can't pay cash, don't buy it".
It's pretty unrealistic. It wasn't till I sold my businesses that I was able to be 100% debt free. I'm astonished at the number of people that voted (paid for baby) was so high.
As long as people keep there budgets in check financing is a solid practice.

And cryptocurrency doesn't? You're right, the $185 profit I've made off of $400 to start from cryptocurrency in 2 months that's now in my bank isn't actually real.

I know dealerships don't really give preference to cash customers anymore. This was my first vehicle purchase with cash. Msrp for 17 sport 4x2 was 35300. Got it for 32k before tax. Just suggested I might want to keep looking one time after the initial offer of 33100. Dealership dropped its panties without much effort. Just my 2 cents

I financed, but I also go incredible trade in value for my 4Runner and put a lot of cash down, so after a year of monthly payments, I paid her off.

Let me tell you, if you're at all unhappy with any of the "characteristics" of your Gen 3, not having a monthly payment makes them easier to get along with.
