iPhone and Entune issues gone away with latest iOS update

My iPhone 7 shows "Toyota Tacoma" as well. So are you able to get the Entune App on the iPhone to connect to the truck on iOS 11.1?

 

mine used to say this, then it just changes one day... wait and see if it happens to yours

 

mine shit just started working randomly ...got in the truck and entune connected

 

does iOS 11 work for anyone?

yup it actually works better than it did before ios 11.1 ...before iOS 11.1 i would have to accept that my phone is being connected to my truck on the entune app....now entune automatically connects.

 

That is weird. Bluetooth works fine, but none of the apps work (Pandora, Facebook, etc.) I have tried everything. Something isn't right. Anyone found a fix?

 

Have you tried deleting the app?

 

Yeah I did all that.
Today’s iOS 11.1.1 update fixes it.

 

Just wanted to toss this in here, but my radio has been crashing like crazy. I don't know if it is related to my iPhone but it seems after the last update (iOS 11) it now happens all the time. Update: Sorry, I realize this is for gen 3 but they are listed 2012 - 2017.

 

IOS 11.2 seems to be working ok...

 

I was getting this shortly after buying my 17 in june, the head unit did some "update" and all I'd get is the ignore option.
The dealer had no idea but gave me a total line of BS, like my "5s was too old". When I called the number for entire support I lucked out and actually got someone who was able to help....basically if there are too many txts in the phone then you won't get the "read" option. I went and deleted as many as I could (need to hold some for work) and it actually did work.

I think this is an iOS issue, but the last few times I have let the Bluetooth music start playing automatically when I get into my Tacoma, the audio is all messed up. The phone is connected to the truck, but the audio will play super fast for a second, then pause, then play super fast for a second, pause, and repeat. I haven't figured it out yet, but after driving a few minutes and switching back to Bluetooth music it seems to be fine. iPhone X running iOS 11.1.1

 

I have the entune app on iPhone 7+ . it has save destination on the app by how do you accsess that in vehicle
