How do you like the 887s? I was torn beween them and the 885s.

Rides like a Cadillac, have me exactly 3 inches up front. Just don't be upset when you now get the front end clunk that we all get after installing OME Springs. I have gone over everything underneath, tightened shit up like crazy and it's still there.

Do you primarily get it going over speed bumps?

Oh boy well I hopefully i will be fortunate enough to escape the clunk. Glad it rides nice though. The truck had spacers when I bought it and they got to go. What caster should I ask for when i get it aligned or should I just see what I get?

Shoot for 3. Really anything above 2.5° I'd consider acceptable.

Rick, if youre using the OME shocks, then that clunk is the shock bottoming out on itself (on speed bumps)

I got the same clunk with the 5100s. Scared me the first few times it happened.

Nope not on speed bumps and generally only if the wheel is turned going slowly.

Doesn't happen going over speed bumps. Lets say I was in the woods and going over exposed roots per se many in a row. It will clunk like crazy

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm I might have to upgrade to something new then, as it is irritating even going through parking lots in the winter that haven't been plowed all the way down. And there is like little moguls on the pavement it does it then as well

Yup have been through it all, just removed all the Cam Bolts and lubed them up when I put in the JBA's. I have tightened and a couple of other Taco Brothers have tightened up as well.

I don't wheel at all so it doesn't happen that often, let's turn this back into the UCA's thread. With my 887's on 5100's I got 3.7 Caster 0 Camber and about 0.5 Positive Toe
