Anyone else see snow this morning? I DID :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

I might have to fire the furnace Friday night...

    Friday
Sunny, with a high near 33. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
    Friday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 14.

Had flurries last night, nothing that stuck though. Lit the woodstove in the cellar last night but it's just idling along. It was 28 at the house this morning, but I can't run the stove at an actual hot burn until the daytime highs are down in the 30's or it'll cook us out of the house

Says 10° for me on Friday night.

I had a dusting on the roof, lawn, and trees this morning. Nothing on the roads.

If his truck is between 2005 to 2010, he will be getting a letter from Toyota.
The cut them up, and send them to a scrap yard.

I figured they just left the old frames out back for a couple weeks under a salt spray, then just swept up the rust flakes.

Makes me sad, though. I miss my '99 at times. Body on it was perfect, all the mechanicals worked perfect, and it was a fun little truck. I can't complain because Toyota more than took care of me for it, but still...too bad it got sent to the wreckers.

My truck is a late production 2011, so it definitely has the Metalsa frame. It's nearly flawless after six New England winters. I'm just starting to see a tiny bit of rust on the welds.

Hopefully that's an indication of how the newer ones are.
