I voted for March 9-11. I'll be in North Carolina the first 2 weekends listed, Texas March 2-4, and I already have PTO scheduled for March 8-19 for Bike Week.

Gonna have to disagree there. :D That first one we went to in January 2014 was freakin' gorgeous all weekend. I don't think I broke a sweat at all. Yeah, it was a little chilly at night, but with a nice campfire and alcohol, it was very tolerable, even nice (of course, you weren't legal at that one yet so, you might have had a slightly different experience, haha). Of course, I slept in the truck at that meet so I was pretty toasty when I was sleeping.

The last two Annual Meets kinda sucked. It was too damn hot during the day and it rained on us (2016), or at least it was wet as hell with a heavy mist last February, Saturday night. It's kinda weird though. I don't remember what the weather was like at the 2015 meet.

At any rate, IMHO, the later we have it, the more likely it is to be hot and the higher the chance we'll get rained on. Besides, we're talking the last weekend in January for this one, not the first weekend like the 2014 meet was, so that should be a compromise for ya.

On a different note, I'm trying to think (yeah, it's a strain), it's only been me, you and Thorny Mike that have been to the Annual Meet the last 4 years consecutively, right? If we all show up to this one, we'll have attended for 5 years running. :proposetoast:

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
Didn't it get pushed into February to avoid the end of deer hunting season?

Not at Citrus. Everything but small game season (Edit: which runs until the end of February where Spring Turkey season begins) ends by the first weekend in January. It got pushed into February by popular vote. :D

I did the best I could with what was available. Given that the last two meets we've stayed up til 3am drinking and having a good time I eliminated the weekends that were already the most populated this far out to be considerate of the other people who aren't in our group that will be trying to sleep. I also stated that they are in the middle of the side that we normally camp on. Presidents day was eliminated as there is a greater chance that the trails will be busier whether the campsites are or aren't. I figured offering four options were plenty and there didn't need to be too many options, otherwise it would be more difficult to gather a greater majority. :hattip:

Sorry, Tim, as stated the poll is at the top of the thread. I'll clarify that in the OP. Additionally Lee mentioned 3 weeks is too long of a voting period so I will see if I can shorten it to 7 or 8 days.

Last annual meet that I went to was in the beginning of February and it was cold and great. Didn't sweat and the fires were actually useful. I thought it was more enjoyable at least? :anonymous:

It was cool at night. It was hot during the day. I remember stumbling out of the tent Saturday morning with my jeans on, but about 20 minutes later, I was going back in the tent to change into shorts 'cause I was already stating to sweat. It did get a little chilly Saturday night, but then there was also that heavy mist that made everything damp. At least it didn't rain, haha.

It was 40* at night when I wet up in 2015. I had to move from the tent to the truck.

I had an electric blanket that year. Only problem I remember having was the bottom seam of my small tent blew out due to the air mattress so I wasn't bug-tight. With the new tent, I've been bringing a small space heater with a small piece of plywood to set it on. It keeps the tent surprisingly toasty.

Man, I had jeans, a long sleeved shirt, sweater, and thick blanket and it still wasn’t doing the trick. My buddy’s tent that he so graciously brought (sarcasm) didn’t have he wind cover so it was like sleeping in a screened in porch.

30 degree sleeping bag will certainly do it. I slept in 27 degrees with it and 30 mph winds up in N GA and was just fine

Soooooo, have we settled on dates yet? I am assuming the last weekend in January due to the poll.

Anyway, put me down for 2 nights and 4wd.
