bummer. im still on my single player kick since i just dont play enough. sounds like a good game though

 

You using a steering wheel or the controller? I really want it, but don't have a wheel any more. And also don't feel like dropping a few hundred on one.

 

Controller. I've never used a wheel before. I'd like to try one but just don't have the space for one. Besides... I've been playing racing games with a controller for so long now that I've no issue with putting up competitive times. I like playing with a controller since I can "feel" where I need to put the car and it seems much easier to modulate the gas and brake.

 

I heard Player Unknown's BattleGrounds (PUBG) is coming to Console in Dec. Can anyone else confirm this?

 

Xbox One in Dec. Not sure about PS4?

 

Alright @RearViewMirror ive got an Xbox one. Thinking about getting PS4 now with the Star Wars bundle and the WWII call of duty. What's your opinions on this

Anyone here play Dead by Daylight?

 

I just pre ordered the new Battlefront II so that's the way "I'd" go. I bought COD WWII and was not impressed. Same COD without jetpacks. It's not bad but the rotation of maps leaves something to be desired. I suppose the COD thing has worn thin on me. If you buy a PS4, buy the Pro no matter which bundle you choose.

 

That's a bummer about the new COD. What's bad about it? I've missed the old CoDs. Last decent one was MW2 imo.
Probably won't be getting the PS4 pro though, don't wanna spend the extra 150 for 4K when I don't have any 4K viewing

 

thats how it will stay. they are just the same game in a new look. i wont bother with cod either

 

That just saddens me. I just want to find a good multiplayer shooter to unwind with after a long work day. I miss the old days when cod was enjoyable

 

Yeah me too. COD hasn’t been the same since black ops II. It’s nothing more than copy and paste every year. Disappointing.

 

I think the ghost one was the last one I ever bought. It just got ridiculous with the jet packs and doodads. I couldn't take it. They ruined a great game. I think MW1 was the last truly good cod. MW2 and BOPs 2 were playable but after that immediate downhills

 

Agreed. Battlefield series is getting really good. I know there’s a lot of fanboys for COD, but it seems like the series is slowly dying.

 

If you are in to toon shooters Overwatch is a pretty good "in & out" multiplayer but I hear ya on a needing good shooter. I was hoping that Destiny 2 would fill that void but it didnt quite pan out that way imo.

 

Battlefield is too intense for me. All the hard core gamers play that. I've played a few and just get frustrated getting killed every 30 seconds. I don't have time to learn that game. I just need something relatively easy.

I have overwatch for PC but haven't played in months. I really want a more "realistic" shooter like cod with those types of maps. I used to play destiny as well but stopped playing that a long time ago and heard destiny 2 isn't worth it

 

Sadly im afraid options are limited when it comes to "realistic" shooters. I guess you could always play Chivalry lol, it's not a shooter but funny AF when you chop someones head off with a giant battle axe.

 

Ya. The options are either cod or BF. Which sucks. #makeCODgreatagain

 

The last COD I enjoyed was Modern Warfare because it was a complete departure from the norm. But every iteration since then has blown. I was hoping WWII would go back to it's roots (and in a sense it has) but it just isn't fun to me anymore. I loved Battlefield 4 and played the shit out of that. There just isn't that many engaging shooters out there at the moment. We went back in D1 last night and had a blast in private matches so I miss that. But the 4v4 format of D2 can suck my balls. It's just no fun. The new Battlefront II looks really cool and Dice has always made decent games with unreal sound design so I'm looking forward to that.

But I've been enjoying the shit out of Gran Turismo. Going to start qualifying for the events starting today.
