I bet tires were a HUGE part of his issues. I love watching the dipshits in their low slung sports cars try to drive with their massively wide rear tires in the snow. Get some skinny snowflake rated tires and you'll be just fine.
I really liked Bosch Icons on the Tacoma. Surprisingly, they haven't been great on the F150. I'm running Napa's beam windshield wipers now and really like them.

X2 my struggle is finding a gym that clears out early enough that I wont have to start working out at 8 or 9 at night just to be able to go through a workout fully without waiting for someone to finish up on cables or the benches

I run Rain-X ones, seem to last longer than the Bosch. Both suck in the winter though for me. The Bosch were not as bad with icing up as the Rain-X ones usually are though

I'll take this moment to be thankful that I don't need to dress up for work.

Jeans, t-shirt, and an "old man" quarter zip sweater for me today because I don't care if I'm 25, I still love them.

I run the Rain-X wipers with two coats of Rain-X on the glass for the F150 and they work great.

Of course, I also run cheap-ass Anco frame blades with two coats of Rain-X on the glass for the '84 and they work great too.

I am a Michelin fan boy, I'll admit it. But honestly they do work well and last.

I have found the Bosch's to be hit or miss. Sometimes I realize I've had them for a full year and they're still doing great. Other times they'll start streaking in two months.

This time I bought cheap Peaks from BJs and I'm very happy with them considering how little they cost.

Same. 'office casual' is the official policy, which means jeans and a flannel this time of year.

Tires might help but the selection isnt great. I am running 295/50R20s out back. Ill just stick with the FJ80 in the snow.

Hey, it could be worse.. I can't wear a shoe on my right foot, not even a sock and might not be able to until Christmas. Getting in the truck at 5:45 this morning sucked!

During the school year, the unspoken policy is to just be a step above the kids, which really isn't hard. Jeans and a flannel, polo, sweater, etc. are all fine. During the summer, I always wear shorts and t-shirts.

It's funny, it seems like larger districts tend to dress up more. Smaller ones tend to be much more laid back.

Solid plan. The GF has winter tires for the Mustang just for the traction advantages in the snow, but when it's actually snowing she takes her Rav4 instead. And those are just 235/50R18's.

But honestly, her car is surprisingly good in the snow. It has a winter driving mode that retards the throttle & steps up the traction and stability controls, and as long as the snow isn't over the air dam the thing just chugs along. It's just not as good as an underpowered AWD SUV.

I wore jeans and a flannel back when I was in school, too

Then when you dress up you probably just look like a well-dressed 15 year old. :notsure:

Some do, some don't. We've had principals that wear jeans on a pretty regular basis.

My theory is I could be at my desk all day or I could decide it's a good day to pull a cable through a ceiling, so it doesn't make sense to wear anything I can ruin easily. Not that I own anything really nice anyway.

Weight bench, free weights, and treadmill in my basement. Don't have to deal with Gym Rats that way, lol.

The majority of the boys tend to wear shorts all winter. I don't understand how their legs still have feeling in them.
