350s are fun cars but yes heavy. i enjoyed mine when i owned it but it was never really a car i felt like thrashing on

 

I think the 300zx was a way cooler car.

 

I might be depending on what the actual cost may be. I have an extra intake manifold in my garage that I bought a while back that I thought about doing this with once I had some extra $$$ to do so.

 

Cool if we can get one of two more we should be able to keep the price close to what you were originally quoted

Im not in a huge rush either most my money is going to a home purchase atm, i May experiment with making my own manifold also.

 

I think I'm about as far as i can go for awhile.

 

Let me be like @Torspd and buy an AC/DC Tig welder. Then I can make an efr mani and front facing intake. I have these annoying 10in coilovers in the way of everything. Nothing can stick out wider than the frame. Chopping up a stock mount is what I would do too. Keeps price down.

 

The possibilities rush into the brain, once you start TIG welding. If only the skill rushed in as quickly.

 

I highly recommend an AHP 200x, really enjoying mine and cost of entry is low

 

On that note, www.cyberweld.com is having sales for welders with helmets. Something like $900 off.

Tor is there any biasing that needs to happen when doing a front facing intake or can you pretty much add as muh flow with all equal length/design tubes as you can fit and the engine will pull to each cylinder equally from there?

That thing has some good reviews on Amazon. Looks perfect for a hobbyist learning how to tig.

 

My mazdaspeed has a front facing intake and someone flow tested it. They balance out well just fine until you get up to the really high air flows. Then you start getting some cylinder imbalance. That is why you have that large plenum. Lot of oem motors have the throttle body off to the side. If you make a plenum a bit larger than stock and keep the runner the same diameter you should make some pretty big power and still have good cylinder balance. Too big you get poor bottom end throttle response.

I costs in my head is getting expensive quick. At least no trigger pulling yet.

 

My stroker engine needs more in and out.

 

Do you still have multiple blocks or just building the stroker?
