SUPER CHEAP FRONT BUMPER?????

So I was carrying along doing my thing on eBay when I stumbled upon this.... Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Right off the bat the first thing I noticed was that it did not have a winch mount or even a hole for the to feed the cable through, I love holes...

I'm pretty sure some guy literally posted this link yesterday. IMO you should save your money and spend another 400 bucks to have a fellow North American use real steel and weld you one properly. I think a few TW peeps have ordered them and mounted them without issue, but when you're switching to steel bumpers there really isn't any going back. Buy once cry once. You'd hate to be out 600+.

 

Looks good, resembles stock more so than the other absurd creations.

I did see soemthing similar for 2nd gens... Which what led me to start looking for one for my 3rd gen... I'm fine with cutting corners to spare an extra $400+ but I also dont see a difference in them which is why I'm on the fence about the whole thing

Tl;Dr

Bumpers appeared to be blatant allpro ripoffs and fitment was all over the place. Some people received different styles that what they ordered and someone even got a rear bumper instead of a front. In the end, you get what you pay for.

 

The ebay bumper for the second gen straight stirred shit up because it was literally an all-pro clone. Kind of like Vtx cloning SCS wheels.

 

Again, that was from 2nd gens... These cars have changed and perhaps so has the producer... Anyone wanna be a lab rat
