I just wired mine directly to the ground and it seems to work haha I did a little research and apparently for my HU that's all I have to do, there was no need for a momentary ground switch.

you could do that but that mirror is stupid expensive lol there's a thread floating around with all that info and prices haha for the price of the mirror its not worth it to get just a little screen, for a few dollars more u can get a HU and Backup cam and have a nice big screen

 

I used some 1000 grit sand paper and ever so lightly cleaned it, and wiped it with a microfiber. If it shits the bed I'm guessing it's a cheap part!
