My newly purchased 2015 Tacoma Double Cab TRD Off Road was loaded up on Saturday in AZ at Anderson Toyota and is scheduled to be delivered to me in Eastern NC Friday or Saturday. This will be my first Toyota and first Tacoma, I've had three S-10 ZR2's and a '99 Z71. Looking forward to all the mods to be done.

The only thing I have is a S-10 factory emblem if I remember correctly. I sold the last one about 5 years back and been with out a truck ever since. I have a 2002 VW Jetta TDI as my daily driver to work and average about 55 mpg. My dad has a '94 F-150 2wd I use if I need a truck but will be nice to have a 4x4 once again.

So far I have the following on the way to put on the truck. I plan on putting Bilstein 5100's & AAL to get 2.5" with Toyo Open Country M/T 285/70R17.

    - 4Runner 17" TRD Wheels
    - OEM TRD Pro Smoke Headlight Assemblies
    - OEM TRD Tundra Shift Lever
    - OEM Toyota Inter Wiper Switch
    - Blackout Emblems (done by an emblem shop)
    - Huskey Floor Mats, Front & Rear
    - K&N Air Filter

All good upgrades but don't waste the money on the K&N Air Filter. Keep the Paper Stock One or get an AFE Pro Dry

Yeah, no inter wiper switch. I looked at the build sheet and there it was in all it's sad misery, (two speed wipers). At least I can fix that issue quite easily.

I don't know the trim options for OR, but I didn't know you could get a TRD without intermittent wipers.

Ok, just looked at the build sheet and it says under Interior "2-Speed Windshield Wipers" front page and under Optional "Var. Speed Wipers" third page. If that's not convoluted I don't know what the heck is. So I don't know what the heck it has on it. Tried going back through the photos to see but there isn't one of the wiper switch. I have one ordered so either way I'm good.

Its a trd off road so itll have the intermittent wipers. Only the base models came with the 2 speed wipers without variable speeds.. ask me how i know:anonymous:

It was part of the sr5 package so pretty much only the base models dont have intermittents

Just my opinion but I don't like the large front grille and the narrow headlights on the '16 and up. The '15 and lower body style looks the best, I'm not bashing the '16, '17, and 18's just my opinion as others my feel similar to the '15 and lower body style.

That's why I went with a 2015 and we all know engine is awesome so I had to stay with it. I was just looking at my spec sheet and Muddinfun is correct the off roads come with the variable wiper function.
