Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Looks like a pretty generic truck. Doubtful they're a member.

    July 24th, 2016:

In addition to being on my Asperger's Syndrome thread, these photos are floating around elsewhere on TW, but I'm unsure where...

The owner of this silver 2007 Tacoma was fishing for sharks right on the shoulder of the PCH, and he told me the damage to his Tacoma was caused by a drunk driver as well (I have no idea why he didn't get it fixed). He takes good care of the truck. Aside from the obvious body damage, this truck was quite clean. This particular truck is a 5-speed with over 100K original miles. The owner told me the A/C needed a charge but he didn't bother to fix it because he never used the A/C...

Honestly, the air-conditioner not working is hardly a big deal, as long as the compressor isn't bad. I've had to get the A/C recharged in my Taco (In bone-stock factory form, identical to this one; Just 3 years newer). As for the bodywork it obviously needs, the only parts that would definitely need to be replaced are the right front fender and front bumper. The right rear fender might have to be replaced, but I can tell you from experience that a new (unpainted) fender from Toyota is $600; For how much life this truck has left in it, I think it would all be worth it...

    MalibuTripDay2 603.jpg MalibuTripDay2 095.jpg

    So...

    1. Cost of truck in current as-is condition ($7,000-$10,000)
    2. Recharge and leak-test air-conditioner (Approximately $165)
    3. Install a new stereo system (speakers, double-DIN head unit w/GPS, backup camera; Approx. $600)
    4. Bodywork/repairs ($2,000-$3,000)
    5. New 16-inch wheels and appropriately-sized tires (Approx. $1,000)
