Hang in there. When they finally decided that my wife could no longer do here job of 25 years they let her decide what she wanted to go to school for. Accounting free ride! But it took them three years to get to that point. Also got all her back pay!

Ready to head out shortly with temps in the high 20's.
My BIL is supposed to show up a little after daybreak and I am going to show him a few spots in another area.
Tomorrow may be another story as the cold front is on it's way with high winds. Not a big fan of being in the woods with high winds. Had enough close calls already.

    :pccoffee: Good morning.
Don't know about English Bulldogs but for Tollers it is to protect the breed standard. And the dog. To prevent someone from starting a puppy mill, and having health issues like Goldens and many other breeds have. Your not going to get a Toller without a contract. If you do find one without a contract I would not get it.

Was a lot easier before the internet and no one knew what the hell a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever was. But you still had to know a breeder and get on a waiting list, and sign a contract. Now the waiting list for most breeders is up to 2-3 years long. Been around the breed long enough I know a lot of the breeders and being a previous Toller owner you get bumped to the top of their list. Having a breeder ask YOU if you want a pup is not common, but says a lot about the integrity of the breeders.

I used to think the same thing too. You'd be surprised it isn't as bad as you envision. After 20 years in the pit of ships and Chiefs Initiation there isn't a damn thing I can't do. Anywhere.

I do keep going back to your keep life simple... It would be an emotional decision and not a logical one which has me a bit worried thinking about it logically.

Yeah high winds and trees can be a rather "exciting" time I can do without anymore. Leaves are a bit crunchy here this morning.

    Screenshot_20171109.jpg

Real feel is currently 16* and temps dropping through the day, the high of 24 is right now. At least it is double digits yet. Above zero too.

Time for the rain locker and off to work. I also hate the dark when I leave and dark when I get home. Ready to start working from home again hopefully starting next week.
