Watching the video when it was small I thought somebody went all out painting their truck quicksand! Then I expanded the video, realized it was mud, and read your towel!

Awesome idea by with the sled the way. I'll use that instead of buying a creeper!

Ground tents

Enough to get this bullshit on my roof from time to time. Lol it’s the OG quicksand color

 

Just jell All my time for outdoor activities are slowly coming to an end with the temps and day light shrinking

 

Cold i can live with but the absence of daylight makes it difficult to really do much

 

i take offense to this

 

I mount my tent the same way as @ChandlerDOOM with a couple differences. I have rolling base for a 50 gal trash can that I use for a tent dolly. I put the tent on end on the roller and it makes it much easier to move it around the garage or out to the truck. Better than a sled. The other thing I do differently is instead of starting with it upside down and flipping it over on the tailgate, I just set the rails against the tailgate and slide the tent up until it rests on the tailgate. But flipping it over might be easier.

 

Same, the roll-it-up / roll-it-down method has been great for me working solo. I move mine around on a cheap wooden dolly which is also where I ratchet strap it when it's not on the truck.

i use my forklift at the warehouse to slide it on to and off. Better for my back

 

we dont all have forklifts...

 

sounds like a you problem more than a me problem

 

i dont have a 200+ lb tent.. mine is 105

 

i couldnt even imagine lifting a ruggedized tent. ooooff.

Thankfully mines a cool 130ish.
