I really need to get some work in on my yard but 3 acres is a daunting task.

I have 2.25ac and it's a pain in the ass keeping it up. If I ever move, I swear I only want half an acre to maintain, the rest can be fields or woods.

Haha I’ll take the land. Land in the Raleigh area is like $1.5 million for half an acre.

That’s why I bought some land out in Montana 20 years ago. It’s cheap and that is where my last home will be built when I retire.

I have 13.75 acres of woods surrounding me, I'm just waiting on the old lady to start kicking the bucket and sell it to me.

I currently live in a neighborhood, but I’m down in the culdesac with nothing but woods behind me and can’t be developed. The homes to my left and right aren’t right on top of me either.

I love being surrounded by woods. I'm in the yellow and the red part are the 13.25ac of woods that I will eventually buy. The land on the other side of the road is 11ac owned by the previous owners of my house, and they will never develop that land either, bunch of family land and such..

Where!!! My cousin owns several homes and property in Raleigh and none of it is worth that much. Hell our 1/4 acre down on the water at the beach isn't worth that much. RTP there were lots for sale with an avg of around 250-400k per acre. The land my Grandfather has in old HOPE Valley in Durham (one of the last vacant lots) is around 300k/acre.

That’s awesome! I’d love to have that! Too bad I have to live close to an airport. You never see anything like that within decent commute distance to an airport.

That's awesome hopefully you could buy the land across the st sometime as well! I have been trying to get our family land up in NH for yrs now but it's like on the 5th generation so there are like 50+people that own it to convince to sell it to me, 650 acres and a ~60 acre pond that's where I want to eventually end up.

Haha I was kind of exaggerating. It’s just super expensive for land in Raleigh. At least way more expensive than where i come from.

Oh yeah it is where I use to live in person county if you bough a large lot 100+ acres you could get land for around 1500 an acre under 100 acres avg 2500-4000 an acre.
